This low cost fanless embedded system includes the latest Intel H81 Express chipset, supporting Fourth Generation (Haswell) Intel Core i3 / i5 / i7 processors. It includes two expansion slots that can be configured with one PCI Express x16 slot and one PCI slot or configured with two PCI slots. This allows additional I/O cards, video capture cards, frame grabbers, PoE cards, and even graphics cards to be installed in the fanless industrial PC. When equipped with the Intel Core i7-4770TE Quad Core CPU (8M Cache, Up to 3.3GHz), it is considered the highest performance fanless computer in its class. Fourth Generation Quad Core i5 processors and Dual Core i3 processors are also supported for the latest generation processing power in a cost effective small compact footprint. TCS uses Intel Embedded processors in fanless embedded systems to maximize long term availability and support. This fanless industrial pc supports up to 16GB of 1600MHz dual channel DDR3 memory for high performance application requirements. It includes a variety of I/O ports that suit the needs of almost any application. The two Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports are Intel i210 and i217 Ethernet controller and phy, meeting the requirement for certain IP cameras, vision systems, and other devices. The fanless embedded system includes four USB Ports, two of which are USB 3.0 for the fastest transfer speeds. The industrial computer includes 6 x COM ports, all of which can be configured as RS-232, RS-422, or RS-485 COM ports. Two 2.5” SATA hard drives or solid state drives can be mounted internally. The SATA 3.0 data transfer rates can reach up to 6Gb/s. When combined with a SATA Solid State Drive, boot times are almost unnoticeable, and file transfers are executed at blazing speeds. This fanless embedded system can be configured with an optional wifi card and antenna for wireless communication. It includes a wide range 9~36VDC power input for users that want to connect to their
own 24V DC power source. The power input is a phoenix terminal block, which makes connecting power to the system easy during integration. An external AC-to-DC adapter is also available for applications that prefer to use an AC power source. When a solid state drive is used with this fanless embedded system, it not only offers extreme performance, but also make the system extremely rugged and reliable. The system contains no moving parts, so fan failures or drive failures are eliminated, even in high shock and vibration settings. The system includes rugged ratings for vibration (MIL-STD-810F 514-5C-1) and shock (Half sine wave 3G, 11ms, 3 shock per axis). This industrial PC can be mounted to a wall or any surface with the optional mounting brackets. Operating system support includes Windows 7, Windows Embedded Standard 7, Windows 8, Windows Embedded Standard 8, and various Linux distributions.
