Transform Your Organization
with Custom Engineered 5G-connected Edge Devices

Take Advantage of 5G with Rugged Devices

Fifth generation (5G) networks will change the types of data edge devices can capture and access. 5G will allow much more data – especially high bandwidth data formats – to run across the network. And it will transfer data fast enough to enable many more real-time applications.

This means organizations will be able to extract more value from their data, improve efficiency, or even transform their operations. But 5G devices are complex, especially those used in the aerospace/defense or industrial automation sectors.

Comark has helped clients build devices for previous generations of wireless technology and has the expertise to create 5G-enabled devices that can address the most complex computing challenges.

Do More with Data
Plan Now for 5G Devices

While 5G-enabled devices will help achieve many new functions, 5G comes with new challenges. Computing on a 5G network requires more from devices, and the datacenters they connect to, than ever before. Thus, each will need to be designed differently than technology meant to run on 4G.

Learn what you need to consider both in developing 5G devices as well the datacenters they connect to in this paper from CIO Magazine.

What is 5G?

Fifth generation (5G) is the newest global wireless standard, following 1G, 2G, 3G, and 4G (current) networks. 5G is expected to deliver higher speeds (up to s 20 gigabits per second (Gbps) by some estimates) and much more network capacity, allowing higher bandwidth data to flow more easily. It also features ultra-low (below 5 milliseconds (ms)) latency, ideal for real-time applications. In addition, it will include more reliability and increased availability, which many expect will lead to a dramatic explosion in Internet of Things (IoT) devices.
