Transitioning from the C10 Baytrail 1.2 MB to the C10 Baytrail 2.1 MB

Transitioning from the C10 Baytrail 1.2 MB to the C10 Baytrail 2.1 MB

Comark is in the process of moving from our current Baytrail 1.2 motherboard to our new Baytrail 2.1 motherboard.

Why are we making this change?

The primary reason for this technology refresh is to keep up to date with two technology trends. The first is that we are moving away from the mPCIe slot to the newer M.2 style. The second is to incorporate USB 3.0 to permit us to use higher resolution USB front/rear cameras.

What are the benefits of this change?
  • This change will allow us to provide many additional years of support.
  • We will be able to incorporate USB 3.0 to permit us to use higher resolution USB front/rear cameras.
  • We will also be able to offer Android 8.0.
What do I need to do?

Existing deployment images would not need to change with the exception of any tablet that incorporates any of these new devices. With Windows, there will be no change in the foreseeable future after the first boot as plug-n-play should load in the correct device drivers. We look forward to working with you to incorporate these new features into your applications
